‘’ Our treasure is Him ’’ from Fedjine CELESTIN

Updated: Jul 25, 2023

“Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.”

Mathew 6.19-21 AMP

Our life is more about what we can’t see with our physical eyes than what we can see. Since we all are three-part beings: Spirit, soul, and body, we have to acknowledge if we only focus on our bodily parts we lose 90% of who we are.

Our treasure is Him. Not our material possessions. Not our relationships. Not even our church.

Our treasure is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Each time, we look for somewhere else for our happiness, we sign for our never-ending pursuit that still leave us empty. What is certain, God did not create the good things on this earth to be our eternal support.

Christ is the river that satisfies us. Do you believe it?

Thus says the Lord:

My love for you is never-ending. You are precious and loved. Don’t be skeptical. And receive only. I promise you my life and I did not fail that promise. My love, come and reside in me and I'll reside in you. May you be at peace and know I am the Lord.

Prayer:

Oh Lord Jesus, there is no one else like You . We desire You more than anything. May You  be the bread we eat every day, the drink we drink, the One we run first when we need help. Let Your  light shine upon us. We don’t want to be thirsty, and unsatisfied anymore. Jesus, let You be our lover and the King of our hearts. Your lovingkindness, oh Lord, is the precious gold that our life is depending on. We love and praise You, not only today but for all eternity. Amen.
