Intimacy with the Father

I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.”John 17:22-23 NLT

We were never meant to travel this christian walk alone. We didn’t get in by ourselves and we are not going to stay in it by ourselves. Jesus is there and He is our ultimate helper. It is important to know that the hardships we are facing are opportunities for God to manifest His glory, His faithfulness, His goodness and most importantly His love through our lives .

We may have a glimpse of what this glory may be or not but I can assure you one thing : it is more than what you can see. It’s more than the healing you are waiting for. It is more than the mariage, the child, the house or the car you are praying for. It is more than getting that dream job. It is even more than the anointing you are fasting for. This Christian journey is about reaching a level of complete intimacy with the Father through the Holy Spirit as Jesus did on earth. Ephesians 3 verse 17 - 18 (NLT version) says: “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Our walk with God is about trusting Him, understand and grow in His unconditional love. This is what makes us complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from Him.

May we come to the point where intimacy with God is all what we are craving for the rest of our lives. May His Holy Spirit help us to know the Father’s heart everyday. May He help us finish the race with the power that comes from Him. May we receive the knowledge and the courage to show others how to be intimate with our Father with love and authenticity.
