Let me share a quick testimony with you guys.
This week, I won the biggest cash prize in a raffle at work, and some people got mad because i'm relatively new in the company, not even a month, and to them, its not fair. But, none of these people knew that day I was sitting in my bed crying before going to training because I had no money to get there, and no one could really help me.
My sister gave me her last 200 pesos, and I made it there. I'm not sure how i'd get back home. The only thing I knew was that God would take care of me. I chose to continue to trust the Lord, His word over me, and His love for me. He said He would take care of me, and He did. He had brought me that far, and His hand is upon me for eternity.
I know that me winning this prize is no coincidence, it's not luck, it's not a mistake. It's the living proof that my God sees me, hears me, and listens to me that nothing I will ever go through in life is going to be in vain. His name is El-Roi : The God who sees me. I was praying during the raffle, saying God let me win "something," but never would I have imagined what He had in store for me.
He did exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me. And guess what? Ephesians 3:20 was the verse He gave me for this year. His word will never come back empty!I also was telling myself that I didn't write anything this month, I had no texts to share, wondering if I was playing with the talent God gave me, but where I was planning a story, God was planning a testimony.
To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. AMEN!
